HEX, RGB and HSL
HEX is RGB in hexadecimal (#RRGGBB), common in CSS and design tools; RGB uses three 0-255 channels; HSL uses hue/saturation/lightness and is easier for tints/shades. They describe the same color in different notation.
HEX: #0f766e.
RGB: rgb(15, 118, 110).
HSL: hsl(174, 77%, 26%).
Use #RRGGBBAA or rgba()/hsla().
The result depends on the background.
